Border Bucks Outfitters is a family owned and operated business located in Northwest Missouri, 5 miles from the Iowa border. We offer top quality trophy hunts on more than 14,000 privately owned and leased acres to provide exceptional trophy quality. The land that we own and lease is some of the best hunting property in the Midwest. We have a great mix of terrain, from river bottoms to corn fields, soybean fields, food plots, brushy draws, CRP, hardwood timber, and alfalfa fields. We limit the number of hunts each year to ensure top trophy quality deer. Attention to detail is one of our strong points. We are a full time outfitter and spend countless hours to provide a top quality experience for all of our hunters. Our work does not begin when the hunting season opens, it begins the day that hunting season closes. We start shed hunting, making new mineral stations, refreshing mineral stations, working on tree stands, building enclosed shooting houses, running trail cameras, making new stand locations, planting food plots, upgrades and maintenance to our lodge and kitchen, and scouting, scouting, and more scouting. When you book a hunt with Border Bucks Outfitters, you get 365 days of work, rolled into a 5 or 6 day hunting experience. The area that we hunt here in Northwest Missouri/Southwest Iowa runs deep in my roots. My father and mother were both born and raised in this area and I have spent my entire life hunting and fishing here. I started deer hunting at the age of 6, and turkey hunting not long after that. I fell in love with hunting and fishing early in life and anyone who knows me can tell you I am a serious hunter. I have hunted all over the country for many different species and enjoy it all. I am a true bow hunter and have hunted elk, bear, antelope, mule deer, alligators, hogs, turkeys, whitetails, and many different small game species. I live and breathe hunting and all my experiences help make my clients’ hunts more successful and rewarding. The atmosphere here at Border Bucks Outfitters is very warm and family oriented. We try to make each and every client feel as if they are part of our family. Speaking of family, if you are looking for a place to bring a young child for a hunt, this is the place to do so. We offer great experiences that will make great memories to last a lifetime. We treat each and every hunter equally, and everyone has the same chance to take a trophy. This is real hunting, no high fences, no feeders, and no bait piles. It is very rewarding for us when all of our hard work pays off and our clients harvest their animal. I have been told several times that I was more excited than the hunter over the harvest of a mature animal. This is why we do what we do! Hunt Info
Guides are friendly and knowledgeable of the area. You will most likely hunt a different stand every day.All stands have all the safety equipment and ample amount of hangers for your gear.
I go back every year sometimes twice a year archery hunting the rut (Nov) and the late season (Jan).I have seen those 180+ deer just haven’t gotten the opportunity for that shot, and that is part of the reason I go back year after year.I have confidence the 180+ whitetail will happen in my lifetime just have to keep at it.
So if you want a top quality hunt this is the place to go,take my word for it,I highly recommend.
