These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of hornandfin.com (the “Site”), operated by Horn and Fin (“we”, “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Using the Site
You must be at least 18, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission, to create an account. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Don’t use the Site to break the law, harass anyone, send spam, scrape or copy the Site in bulk, or interfere with how the Site works.
Listings
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including licenses, prices, availability and contact details. By submitting a listing, you confirm that you’re authorized to represent the business and that the information is accurate. We may edit, reject or remove listings at our discretion, including listings that are inaccurate, duplicated or inactive.
Reviews and other content you post
Reviews must be based on your own real experience with the business. Don’t post reviews of your own business or a competitor, reviews you were paid or rewarded to write, or content that is false, abusive, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights. You keep ownership of what you post, but you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, adapt and distribute it on the Site and in promoting the Site. We may moderate, edit for formatting, or remove content at our discretion.
Our information is a starting point
Hunting and fishing regulations, seasons, fees, draw rules and odds change every year. Our guides, draw odds and points information are for general planning only and may contain errors or be out of date. Always confirm with the state wildlife agency and current regulations before you apply, buy a license or hunt. Draw odds are based on past results and don’t predict or guarantee future results.
Businesses listed on the Site
Horn and Fin is a directory. We don’t run, endorse or guarantee any outfitter, guide, charter, lodge, landowner or other business listed on the Site, and we’re not a party to any agreement between you and them. Check licenses, references, contracts and insurance yourself before you book. Any dispute about a trip is between you and the business.
Advertising and affiliate links
Some placements on the Site are paid, and some links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Intellectual property
The Site’s design, text, graphics, tools and data compilations belong to Horn and Fin or its licensors. You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial planning. Don’t copy, republish or sell its content without our written permission.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HORN AND FIN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR YOUR DEALINGS WITH ANY BUSINESS LISTED ON IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED $100.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Horn and Fin against claims arising from content you post, listings you submit, or your violation of these Terms.
Changes and termination
We may change these Terms or the Site at any time. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
