Discounted Antelope, Deer Hunt for High-Racked SD & WYO Bucks, Plus Turkey!

This outfitter always has a place to hunt. He is located in the corner of the Wyoming-South Dakota-Nebraska Black Hills. Each state has different seasons and license requirements. He hunts whitetail deer, mule deer, antelope, turkey and varmints in each season of each state. He will provide transportation - no ATV’s please. Lodging is included with the package. The lodge is in Wyoming, but if he is hunting more than a mile from the lodge he will put you up in a motel and feed you.

His success rate is extremely high for rifle hunts for all species, it’s in the 90% range for muzzle loader hunts and archery hunts are lower.

Archery antelope (Aug 1 or Sept 1) depending on the unit, archers shall possess a limited quota antelope license in addition to an archery license in order to hunt during any special archery season.

Archery deer (Sept 1 to Sept 30) depending on the unit, archers shall possess a general deer tag or a limited quota deer license in addition to an archery license in order to hunt during any special archery season.

Comments: Wyoming license fees - deer is $326; antelope - $286; conservation stamp - $12.50.

 Booking Terms: a deposit of $1000 is required when booking and the balance is due 30 days before the hunt.

Weather

The weather can and will have a profound effect on your hunting sometimes in a positive manner sometimes in a negative manner. During the fall weather in Wyoming can change from 90 degrees during the day to freezing at night. Roads may be muddy and to wet to travel in the morning and dry in the same afternoon. We will hunt in bad weather, but safety and ranch road rules will be the deciding factors about leaving camp. November in Wyoming can get very cold. Mule Deer hunting involves sitting in the dark for about an hour so be sure to bring clothing that will keep you warm. Prior to your hunt go to the internet site www.weather.com and search Newcastle WY. Checking out the long range forecast will help you prepare for your hunt. No extra days will be awarded or refunds given to lost hunting opportunity or season closures. Any additional cost for motels, meals, etc. under these circumstances is not the responsibility of the Hunting Lodge.  

Transportation

Plan on arriving mid-day the day before your hunt start date. For air transportation fly into Rapid City, South Dakota is the closest airport to our location. We suggest you rent a vehicle as most hunters fill early and there are many beautiful sights to see in the Black Hills. We are located just 25 miles from Deadwood, South Dakota and only an hour from Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monuments. Devil’s Tower is only 70 miles from our lodge. Round trip transportation is available from the airport at $200.00 per person or $400 for groups of 4 or more.

HUNTER SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: No person born on or after January 1, 1966 for Wyoming may take any wildlife by the use of firearms, unless the person possesses and can exhibit a certificate of competency and safety in the use and handling of firearms. Wyoming grants reciprocity to other states, countries or provinces providing recognized hunter safety certificates. Exhibit of certificates are not required to apply for or obtain a license; however certificates must be carried in the field. The minimum age to hunt in Wyoming is 12.

DOE HUNTS & LICENSES: In order to maintain quality hunting, we carefully regulate the number of does we harvest on our leases. If you desire to harvest a doe on your hunt, ask about the availability when you book your hunt.

ADDITIONAL Antelope: The Hunting Lodge does have hunts in exceptions units Area 4 & 5 were a hunters can harvest two Buck Antelope. If you desire to harvest a second Buck Antelope on your hunt, ask about the availability when you book your hunt. Additional antelope is priced at $995.
