Kevin Sears has had his guide license suspended by New Mexico. The high shot opportunity he promises were nonexistent. On the 3rd day I had a shot at a small 5x5--this was my only shop opportunity where it was light enough to make sure it was a legal elk and where I could actually see my scope's cross hairs. My other "shot opportunities" did not meet those minimum requirements for a legal shot. The other hunter in camp had no shot opportunity at any legal bull. The guide won't tell you to shoot, but you stay out way passed shooting time and the guide "encourages" you to find the elk through your scope. Then says, how does it look? I did have glimpses of big elk. The guide called one to withing 50 yds, but it stayed behind a juniper and, curiously, the guide was standing in front of me at the time.
