The lodges are trailers which is something you won't find out until you get there. But do not fret, because they have 6 beds and are a really good living space. Not cramped, full kitchen, living room, 2 showers. Really nice. Finding the dock was a bit of a pain having not been here before. Not much in the way of signs, but the town people were very kind and pointed us in the right direction. Once there, we left without delay. Started with some jigging, and I caught two fish, though I was the only one who caught anything. Captain John (JJ) took the time to answer all questions and showed us all the instruments and how to tell where the fish were. He tried his damn best to get us in a spot with some fish. After checking with some others in the area who were also coming up short, JJ took us out a ways to do some trolling. Unfortunately the fish just weren't biting like crazy, but capt found the spots where they were and everyone in the boat ended up bringing in 3 walleye to include some 26-29 inchers. Ended up with 97 lbs of fish, and all sorts of compliments about how nobody had the hull we did, and we caught the most and biggest fish out of everyone on the water that day. JJ fit right in with our crew and did his best to get us where the fish were. Damn good guy.
