~Bitterroot Outfitters is a combination of 2 former outfitting businesses . ~We do not overcrowd our camps. Most of our camps only have 2 hunters per hunt. We never have more than 4 hunters in a camp. ~We do not mix hunting parties. ~2 hunters can have their own guide and camp all to themselves. ~Our wilderness permits allows us to hunt in over 100 square miles. ~The fires have created excellent elk habitat. ~We are not allowed to harvest spike bulls. This is very important in managing a trophy elk heard. ~Unlike some outfitters, we don not sit around waiting for snow to push elk out of a park. ~Tom has been guiding and outfitting for 19 years. ~Tom has had articles written about him and Bitterroot Outfitters in Bugle, Safari, Eastman's Journal and Coonhound Bloodlines.
