Mule Deer Hunts

Rifle Unit 21 Buck

Our mule deer hunts take place in several different units in Southern NM. From open desert to shrub forests to dense hardwoods, we will work hard to get you that mule deer. These hunts are conducted mostly on public land and are 5-day hunts. Although there is an earlier bow hunt in September, most hunts begin with muzzle loader in late October, then rifle through November and finally the archery hunt in January. Most hunts will be spot and stalk with lots of glassing from high points. Great food and accommodations make this a great value hunt and we will work hard to get you that trophy. Southern NM is not known for monster deer and average deer are between 120 and 150. We currently do these hunts in Units 34, 30, 36, 21, 2B, 24, 25 and 23.

Nonresident License: cost is $290.00 for S hunts and $375.00 for HD/Q hunts.

Resident License: cost is $47.00.

Barbary sheep Hunts

Unit 34, Ewe

Our Barbary sheep hunts are conducted off the face of the Sacramento Mountains as well as rolling hills near Hondo Valley. This is also called a poor mans sheep hunt and is just as tough as any sheep hunt out there. Be prepared for steep climbs, long shots, and tons of glassing. But don't get discouraged as these animals make great trophies and are addicting to hunt. These hunts are conducted from February 1 threw March 15.

Texas Barbary sheep Hunts in Devils River

Hunt some trophy Barbary sheep in Devils Canyon in Western Texas. Rams up to 35" are not uncommon. These are great hunts and usually fill up quickly. You will need a 5-day non-resident license which is 48.00 and you are good to go.

Elk Hunts

Archery 34 Bull

Our elk hunts take place mostly in GMU's 34 and 36. However we can also guide in Units 16A, 16C, 15, and 13). We have had great success the past years with 100% opportunity and 75-80% killed. The elk herd here is great and you will have a great time and see a lot of elk. Our camps are fully outfitted with many comforts you would find at home. Archery hunts are exciting with the peak of the rut in full swing and it almost seems that elk are everywhere filling the beautiful mountains with high pitch bugles. There is also a youth/mobility impaired hunt following the archery hunts and they make for a great exciting hunt and we usually have great success with these hunts. As for muzzle loader and rifle, it is mostly a spot and stalk type of hunting but there is always that chance of calling in a hot bull looking for that cow. We also offer a late season cow elk hunt which takes place in early December. These hunts are great for women and kids or just to fill that freezer. Either way I know that we can fulfill your goal of having a great hunt and with any luck the harvest of a trophy elk. 

Non-resident license: $555.00 for standard hunts, $ 780.00 for HD/Quality hunts and $345.00 for cow.

Resident license: $91.00 for either sex or bull and $61.00 for cow.

This ranch gets very little pressure and last year we were 100% kill on all of our hunts. These are great hunts and will sell fast so call for availability. White Sands Missile Range Oryx Hunts

34' Bull

Our Oryx hunts are conducted on WSMR and have kept are 2-day pricing although you might get to hunt Friday afternoon, depending on WSMR schedule. These are fun hunts and our success rates have been 100% opportunity and 90% kill. These animals are beautiful and make exceptional trophies and you don't have to go all the way to Africa to get one. These are spot and stalk hunts and success is usually higher with rifle or muzzle loader than with a bow. But whatever your goal is we will work hard to achieve it. We conduct these hunts from Oct-Feb on either Rhodes Canyon or Stallion Range.

We can also offer a guaranteed tag private land hunt. We are lucky to have a small ranch in between the Armendariz Ranch and Missile Range. We have had great success on this ranch and on a 3-day hunt you will get at least one opportunity. Average size killed is about 30"-35", we only do a couple hunts on this ranch so book early. Expect to pay 1,000.00-1,500.00 for private land authorizations. Call for more about this type of hunt.

Pronghorn Antelope Hunts

Archery Unit 16, 16' Goat

Our antelope hunts take place all over New Mexico with our main private ranch over 14,000 acres located in northern New Mexico near Las Vegas. We usually offer 6-8 private land hunts a year from Aug 27, to Sept 1. We have some great antelope hunting with average goat kills within 14-16 inches. Techniques from spotting and stalking, to decoying, to sitting blinds are all used to take down your trophy. These are great weekend hunts and success is usually 100%. You can add days for longer archery hunts if needed.
