Years of experience dates us back to being the first big game hunting outfitter in Colorado to offer commercial guided elk, mule deer, moose and black bear hunts within our permitted area of Colorado's Arapaho National Forest. Archery, muzzleloader and rifle hunts with fully guided or economy hunts. It's real, fair chase big game hunting at its best! We have Semi-guided Elk and Deer Hunts reduced down to only $ 1745!
You will be hunting the game rich Arapaho National Forest, GMU018 and GMU028 based just outside of Granby Colorado. Our area is rough, steep, and accessible only by foot, boat, or horseback. This remote area holds many trophy elk, mule deer, moose and bear.
We accommodate up to eight (8) hunters in camp per hunt and offer both fully guided and semi-guided economy hunts for elk and mule deer during archery, muzzleloader, and rifle season. You may also have an opportunity to do some fishing, so be sure and get your license, just in case you fill your tag early!
Some questions we use to tailor make your hunt the way you would enjoy it to be we ask the following questions then build from there.
What is your first choice hunting date(s)?
What is your second choice hunting date(s)?
In total, how many people are in your group?
How many members of your group will be hunting?
If any, how many are children?
What type of hunt are you interested in?
Which area do you want to hunt?
Have you hunted Colorado before?

Deadline for Applications: First week in April
Important Hunting Trip Information
Please pack all personal items in duffel bags that are no longer than 36" and weighing no more than 75 lbs. maximum. Alcoholic beverages are not provided in camp. Reminder: A hunter’s safety card is required for those hunters born after January 1, 1949. Our hunting grounds are not overrun with other hunters. It's really more like hunting private land.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Private land hunts available with cabins.
Also NEW for 2012 Summer Days on our private and BLM permitted ground. Base camp is truck accessible and consists of canvas-walled tents. We are finalizing the details with BLM now. Call for updates!
To purchase a hunting license in Colorado, you must have acceptable proof of hunter education graduation. See Hunter Education Requirements for details.
Limited Licenses
The deadline for applying for big game limited hunting licenses is APRIL 2, 2012. Results of each year's drawings will be on the Limited License/Preference Points page.
Although the deadline is over, there is still a chance to obtain licenses. There are deer and elk licenses left over. See the Leftover List. You may also buy over the counter licenses.
The Regulations Brochure can be viewed online and printed.
Nonresidents apply at the same time and on the same application forms as resident hunters. They may purchase an over-the-counter license just the same as resident hunters.
Residents, if you applied for a limited license last year, should have received this years brochure in the mail. If you did not hunt last year, misplaced your brochure or would like another copy, pick them up at DOW offices and license agents throughout the state.
How to Obtain Over-The-Counter Licenses:
Over-the-Counter licenses may be purchased until midnight prior to the opening of the particular hunting season that license is good for. Once a season begins, the only place a license may be purchased is at a Division of Wildlife office. (The exception is over-the-counter archery licenses, which may be purchased any time during the season).
Licenses purchased by Internet & phone:
All hunting and fishing licenses (except for leftover limited big game licenses) are now available by Internet and phone. This includes annual and short-term fishing and small game licenses. Purchase online at Applications & Licenses or call the toll free TELEPHONE SALES number, 1 (800) 244-5613.
Things to Remember
If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1949, you must have a hunter education card or certificate before applying or buying a license in Colorado.
If you hunted or fished in Colorado since 1994, you were issued a green conservation certificate (CC). To apply in 2003, you will need the number in the upper right corner of your CC. If you have lost your CC, give us a call at (303) 297-1192. We will reprint and mail it to you. PLEASE DO NOT OBTAIN A NEW CERTIFICATE AT A LICENSE AGENT. If you are applying for or buying licenses in Colorado for the first time, a CC will be issued to you automatically.
Big Game season dates, license fees and application deadlines have been finalized for the next 5-year season structure. Each year the Colorado Wildlife Commission meets in January to make final decisions on possible new regulation changes pertaining to hunting. Hunters need to be aware that new regulations may apply each year. Be sure to check the big game season information brochure for more specific information.
For more on requirements to purchase a license and other hunter education questions, see Hunter Education.
