Our summers are full of fun and excitement. We offer guided horse pack trips, leisurely horseback rides, cowboy cookouts, scenic drives and photo tours. We also offer fishing in streams, nearby beaver ponds and lakes. For the more adventurous we have 2, 3, 4 day pack trips with a minimum of riding and lots of hiking, fishing or just plain relaxing.

We are locally owned and operated. We have been in the business 27+ years. Many satisfied clients have returned year after year for our quality service and excellent big game hunting. 

We offer private land hunting on our own ranch as well as pack in hunts higher up on the mountain in the Gunnison National Forest adjacent to our ranch contained in GMU053 and GMU054. We have quality camps, be they tents higher up or our cabins on the ranch.  Ranch Hunts

We offers private ranch hunts on 5000+ acres at approximately 7600 feet elevation situated in the middle of the Gunnison National Forest. Ranch hunts include all accommodations, with electricity, running water and hot showers. For those football enthusiasts, satellite TV is available so you don't miss a game during hunting season. 

 We also offer guided horse pack trips into National Forest land. Archery, muzzle loader, bugle hunts take place on the ranch as well as in the National Forest during mid-September. Book early to avoid the disappointment of having someone take your dates.

We offer specialized elk hunts tailored to the needs of the sportsman. Combination hunts are also available and include, pack in tent camps onto National Forest lands. We have 3 drop camp locations ranging from 10,000 to 10,500 feet. All camps are fully equipped with all cooking and essential needs. These camps are available for fully guided hunts with cooks, or unguided. All drop camps are by horseback with spectacular views. For unguided hunts, the hunters are transported in by horseback with all their gear and food. Camps are checked every other day to transport game from the hunting area to the processor.  

Our access to both public and private property with great elk hunting opportunities is unsurpassed, and our unique setup allows us to hunt the famous is prime hunting areas in its entirety, including over 5,000 acres of private lands.

We work with specific private land owners for trophy quality mule deer. The landowners are only concerned with taking trophy mule deer off of their property. 

These will be always being trophy quality bucks. Landowner tags are available for these hunts.

Colorado Wild Turkey 

We are big game outfitters offering premier spring gobbler Merriam turkey hunting during the spring gobbler season. Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable on the turkey habitat, location and calling. Guided hunts are "1 on 2" for the ranch and public land. The guided hunts are 3 days. We can customize hunts to your needs and requirements.

The region is game rich with turkeys and blue grouse. During the spring gobbler season, the hunter can hunt archery or shotgun. We offer specialized hunts tailored to the needs of the sportsman.

Rates & Packages

Deadline for all limited license draw tags including all deer, some elk and some bear tags is April 5th. Many archery and rifle elk licenses may be purchased over the counter or online. Some bear archery tags can be purchased over the counter or internet. First come basis. Limited. Muzzleloading, 1st and 4th season rifle elk are by draw only. Archery, muzzleloading, 2nd, 3rd and 4th season deer tags are by draw only. Draw date is listed above. I usually have several archery deer tags available at $500. The sportsman who would like to hunt deer as well with the bow.

Muzzleloading Season Dates - September 10 - September 18, 2011

By draw only. We will set up your hunt according to your schedule for a five day hunt. We have muzzleloading deer tags. I charge $1000 for these tags. Is a good hunt for a respectable buck 24 to 26 inches and 160 class. It is not a Trophy caliber hunt. Can be included to be a combination deer and elk hunt. Bear if you have the tag is included no charge. Bear is included on all our hunts at no charge. You must have the tag.
