Downwind Outfitters is an Iowa based Guide Service dedicated in providing quality fair chase hunting in Southern Iowa and Northern Missouri. We aggressively manage our hunting properties to maintain Quality Wildlife Habitat. The main hunting property (pictured above) is located in South Central Iowa and consists of approximately 230 acres of farmland, and is bordered with one of Iowa's largest Wildlife Management Areas which consists of over 16,000 acres of public hunting ground. A classic Iowa farm with it's windmills and grain silos has open fields, draws, over 100 acres of timber, hedge rows, funnels, fingers, 2 ponds, seasonal creeks, as well as several established food plots. In addition to our main hunting property we own or lease several other private properties in Iowa and Missouri that can be available to hunters. Let us provide you with our Quality Guide Service and get you closer to your chance at the \Hunt of a Lifetime!\" Guests will be picked up from Des Moines Int'l Airport. You will then be driven approximately 55 min. to our fully furnished 3 bedroom 2 bath Guest Home built in 2001. The Guest Home is located just minutes away from the main hunting property.
