Dakota Wild Bird Hunts, Inc. is located on our farm 17 miles northeast of Onida, SD. The excellent hunting we offer can be attributed to the improved wildlife habitat. Food plots, trees and cover have really helped the birds multiply, as well as numerous deer. We have ideal cover and for the hunters who want to watch their dogs work. We have 600 acres of CRP and knee-high switch grass, ideal cover to hold birds, but short enough to see your dogs. You will experience wild birds just like hunting used to be! I believe the future of hunting is in operations like ours. The game must be cared for year around with food and habitat. Bad winters will come again and care will save the birds. The food plots saved the birds last winter so we are planning more of them, along with four more acres of trees.
