Boss Bears

The 5 day guided black bear hunts are in one of the designated bear management units of either Carney or Gwinn (see Hunt Pics for detailed maps of these areas). They are on private and/or CFR land and have been pre-baited for approximately 30 days to ensure bear activity during the season. Both areas are bearcammed to provide pertinent information and pictures, i.e. size of bear coming in, frequency, time-frame, quantity, etc.

Elevated ladder stands are provided at all locations and you will be escorted to the site and placed at the blind. At days end, you are picked up and escorted back to your lodging accommodations.

When your bear is bagged, I will field-dress the animal for you (if that is your preference), tag it, and together, we'll register it with local authorities and arrange for processing.

This is basically a 'no-touch' hunt for you...you won't be doing any baiting or anything else other than enjoying your hunt and gorgeous surroundings.
