Location We are located in Elk Area #12, which has one of the highest populations of elk in the state of Colorado. However, the best part is that it has been managed for trophy bulls for 20 years. Only bulls with at least 4 points on one antler or better are legal. We are extremely happy with this management. Our hunters have the opportunity to take real trophies. In 2007 we caped 6 of our bulls for mounting and also caped 1 of our bucks for mounting. That same year we had 20 hunters who collected a total of 23 animals, and we also had 7 bulls and 4 bucks that were missed!
