Windy Ridge Hunt Club

Established in 1998, The club was voted Small club of the year by the DGIF in the State of Virginia in 2003. We are not a QDM affiliated club, but have been managed under the DMAP program thru the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries since about 2002. The hunt club is primarily a still hunting only organization, consisting of permanent tree stands that are community stands for all members and open portable stand hunting as well. Windy Ridge Hunt Club land is locked and secure only to paying members and children under the age of 18. The club has meetings/work parties/food plot program throughout the year and a club manual with established rules that all members follow for safety and to meet the clubs stated game managed objectives. We manage over 2000 acres for trophy deer and have generous doe harvests each year. This is a family oriented club and club member safety is a top priority. All new members will be vetted by the officers prior to anyone being offered a position within the organization. Back ground checks are required. We currently have openings for a few select members to fill out our roster.
