There are plenty of 140+ bucks on this ranch; there are some bigger ones. Advise your guide about what type of deer you’re looking for.

This outfitter in North Texas has a high concentration of good bucks. He owns 2000 acres, with water, hay food plots and brush cover. Hunting is from stands or spot and stalk. The hunting is fantastic. It is not unusual to see 50 plus deer in a morning.

The real magic is that he is surrounded by 360,000 of non-hunted property. The food plots bring in the does and the does bring in the bucks. Bucks range from 8-10 point

This is a 2 buck county so it is legal to take a second buck on the original license for only $995. 

Additionally hogs, turkeys, bobcats, coyotes and Javelina are on the ranch. They are free to hunt while deer hunting and only have a $200-$300 trophy fee if you get on. Additional Hog, Javelina, or turkey is an additional $300 each if so if you see it and want it, take it.

The Texas $300 license is good for up to 5 deer, a couple of turkey, Javelina, small Game and hogs.

The number of bucks is decided by each county. This is a two buck county. I have others that are only 1 buck counties. Simply put you can hunt two different counties and shoot 3 bucks along with 2 does if they are the right counties. I come back with 5 every year, a rifle turkey, Javelina, and a couple of hogs. I usually try to throw in the truck some mesquite for barbecuing at home also.

Comments: Texas Hunting License is required and is available over the counter. Non-resident fee is $315 and the resident fee is $23. Texas is a 5 deer state on the one license, plus turkeys, Javelina and more, it is all one license. This is a hunt for 1 buck, but a second buck can be added when you are hunting and have the cash for the negotiated price.

A deposit of $1000 is required when booking with the balance due 30 days before the hunt.
