Offshore big game and deep sea bottom fishing is considered 20 to 70 miles out and can produce some of the most exciting nonstop action you’ve ever had. When deep sea, be prepared to catch vermillion snapper, red snapper, triggerfish, amberjack, red porgy’s, large sea bass, grouper and the occasional dolphin (mahi-mahi). For the heart stopping excitement of big game fishing we also offer trolling trips. We will travel anywhere from 20 -70 miles offshore and fish for marlin, sailfish, wahoo, tuna, dolphin, and much more. If the bite is slow that day, we always keep bottom fishing rigs onboard to make sure you have a good memorable experience. If you want the thrill of trolling, but don’t want to go 70 miles out, our nearshore trolling may be just what the doctor ordered. Usually trolling from 3 to 20 miles out you can expect to catch king/Spanish mackerel or maybe even some little tunnys. In either case you will experience the heart stopping action of saltwater trolling. All our boats can comfortably accommodate up to six people. You will enjoy a great day of fishing aboard one of our 5 fully equipped boats. One is our 2009 24 foot Z2400 Shearwater bay boat that’s powered by a Yamaha 250 four stroke engine. The 2008 26 foot Sea King 230CC powered by twin Yamaha 150 four stroke engines is used mainly for the offshore trips. The 2008 24 foot Ranger is powered by a Yamaha 250 four stroke engine. The 2008 18 foot Ranger 183 Ghost flats boat is powered by a Yamaha 150 four stroke engine. Another is a 2004 Sea Pro bay boat powered by a Yamaha 150 four stroke engine. All boats are fully equipped with all the latest electronics and tackle to ensure a great day of fishing in the Charleston area. All licenses, baits (live, cut, or artificial) and tackle are included in the price of charters. While other companies charge for live bait, we provide it free of charge when it’s available.
