Shady Creek Outfitters

Shady Creek Outfitters was established in 2009 by Voncel Thacker and Brandon Thomas. Both were raised in Eastern Kentucky and have always been involved in hunting activities. With a combined total of 11 years in guiding experience we decided to establish a guide service and offer hunters the experience of a life time. Shady Creek has locations for Elk hunting in zones 2, 3, and 5. Most of the property is mountain top removed and is owned by land companies and private owners. The 2009 season was a great year for the elk harvest. A total of 19 elk where taken from these zones with a 100 percent kill rate. We love what we do and would love to
