Hi, my name is Derek Hampton, and I am truly excited to be running Saddletramp Outfitters, a successful outfitting business that is over 20 years old, and offers some of the best hunting and most beautiful scenery that I’ve ever seen. I have been helping Saddletramp Outfitters for the last two years, and this year I am taking an expanded role in the running of the outfit. I am originally from the mountains of East Tennessee. I love the Smoky Mountains of my hometown, but the scenery alone in Western Colorado will explain why this is where I hang my hat. Myself, Jake, and our guides spend much of our time in the areas that we hunt in order to offer you the best Colorado hunting experience possible.
