Only a short commercial flight North from Seattle, you will arrive in Ketchikan. We will then depart for Prince of Wales Island by seaplane. It is on this remote Island where you will enjoy the finest Black Bear Hunting in North America. Prince of Wales is the third largest U.S. Island territory and has the highest bear/wolf density per square mile anywhere. Our outfitted Black Bear hunts take place in the early spring. Spring Black bear hunting in Alaska allows for close encounters with unblemished bears during their initial search for fresh grasses, Sea Kelp and other coastal food.
