The owner is a native of South Carolina, grew up hunting Quail in South Carolina.  After 20 years of service with the United States Marine Corps I decided to get into the Hunting Business.  Part of his decision to do this was based on my own experience with various outfitters throughout the country.  We use your money for good hunting ground not a fancy lodge with gourmet meals and a staff to wait on you.

What we do have is a nice, clean, comfortable lodge with home cooked meals and guides that will work hard to get you into game.  We have a very high success rate on limit out hunts, but we also want you to enjoy the total experience.  If you enjoy a great sunrise with ducks working your decoys or great dog work on a covey of birds you’ll have a great time with us.   Come out and enjoy a hunt with us where you’ll arrive as a guest, but leave as a friend.

Hunting Whitetail Deer

Although NW Oklahoma is known for its great Quail Hunting, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better deal than our Whitetail Deer hunting.   Oklahoma has a short rifle season (16 days) and a one week muzzleloader season which puts very little pressure on our Deer.  We harvest a lot of Bucks in the 130 – 140 class range, but we’ll also shoot some in the 150 – 170 class.  These are big Whitetail Deer, weighing in between 175 – 225 lbs.  Our hunts are semi-guided, meaning we’ll show you an area and then let you setup and hunt your own spot.  Each person will usually have around 200 acres to work with.  This is open country and you’ll see Deer out to 800 yards.  We also have some Mule Deer, but not in large quantities.  You can use your Whitetail tag to harvest a Mule Deer.  Tags can be purchased over the counter for $201.50 or a combination tag (Buck & Doe) for $250.00.  Come out and hunt the Big Whitetail with us today.

You will be hunting food plots, feeders, wheat fields from box blinds and tree stands or steep canyon areas.  The Lodge is centrally located to all of the properties so you may be able to walk out the lodge door and hunt or need to drive 5 miles to a separate property. We have a high success rate on good deer even with our 120 minimum for whitetail deer. Seasons Date are :

Hunting Turkey

If you want to have some real funs then come out and enjoy a day hunting Rio Grande Turkeys.  It’s not unusual to see a hundred Turkeys a day and often times more than that.  We offer a 2 day hunt that gives you a chance to go after 2 Boss Gobblers (more days can be arranged).  This is Turkey hunting at its finest with the open country that we have you’ll be able to watch your Turkey as you work him into gun range.  For those that get a Turkey early in the day fishing for Bass, Trout and Crappie can be arranged.  Come out and test your skills on our Rio Grande Turkeys.

 Hunting Quail

It really doesn’t get any better than spending a day hunting Bobwhite Quail behind some hard running, staunch pointing birddogs!  Our rolling hills of shinning Oaks, Plum Thickets, Sage grass and CRP provide excellent habitat for quail.  Everything is provided for your hunt, but you are welcome to bring your dogs.   Most people foot hunt, but you can also horseback or get on our Polaris Ranger for an easy ride while watching the dogs work.  Just let us know what works best for you and we’ll arrange it.

Note:  Our guides have horses, but we do not have horses for our guests.  You are welcome to bring your own.

Hunting Duck

Duck hunting has got to be Oklahoma’s best kept secret.  Every year thousands of Mallards and Canada Geese migrate down the central flyway to feast on our endless fields on peanuts and wheat.  We hunt over decoys on large lakes, ponds and peanut fields.  We offer, in addition to our Duck hunting a combination Duck and Quail hunt that is the ultimate wing shooting experience.  We can set your hunt up any way you like, but get ready for some in your face Duck hunting.
