HUNTERS FLY INTO Scottsbluff, NE or Denver, CO for North Platte Outpost, Rapid City for Hat Creek Outpost or Dickinson, ND for Little Missouri Outpost.

The PRIMARY AIR CARRIER is Scottsbluff is Great Lakes/ Denver any major carrier/ Rapid City any major carrier/ Dickinson is a regional airport. Pickup from the Scottsbluff Airport is free. Hunters deciding to fly into Denver may rent a car and drive the short but beautiful drive through the wildcat hills to the North Platte Lodge in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

TRANSPORTING MEAT/TROPHIES is FedEx. We ship Fed EX with coolers dry ice and the charge fed ex charges- nothing extra- we provide copy of fed ex charges to you

 2x1 and 1x1 hunt charges depend on species and numbers of hunters in lodge.

OBSERVER COST: $150 per night_   

EXPLAIN COSTS include but are not limited to the normal License, processing, shipping, tax and gratuity. 

This facility is a very upscale lodge with a great room, river room, sauna and masseuse services, Hat Creek and Little Missouri Outpost lodges are remodeled ranch houses with all the amenities.

The outfitter always send the clients a detailed information sheet, directions, equipment and so on 6 months out, 90 days out 30 days out to update for weather he will also send out a detailed contract.

Meals and lodging are provided in the most upscale manner.

Hunting transportation includes ATV’s and 4WD pickup trucks depending on the need.

A good pair of Binoculars and also a spotting scope is not required but is recommended.

Each guide has a minimum of 10 years of experience so you are hunting with the best. 

SKINNING/CAPING are included in processing fee is available and the cost depends on the animal. 

The typical size of the animals taken are as follows: Turkey-average 9 + beard weight over 18 pounds, Antelope- 16+ horns, Whitetail- average over 155 class, Mule deer- over 160 class, Waterfowl- mallards, teal, golden eye,  canvas back, pintail, wood duck, widgeon, Canada geese, Trout- over 16 inches, Pheasant- mountable roosters taken daily.

DEGREE OF PHYSCIAL EXERTION:

The style of the hunt depends on species and hunter. We are set up for all styles. Stands and blinds where needed, spot and stalk if desired; Decoys for all types of hunts are utilized. Heated pit blinds for waterfowl.

All land is private and self enclosed with NO outside hunting pressure

The acreage and terrain is very diverse with multiple lodges and hunting areas. This provides us with the habitat and game needed to truly provide a successful hunt time after time. The North Lodge is approx 5k acres, rolling country side with most hunting done along 3.5 miles of North Platte River bottom. Creek Lodge is twelve miles of creek bottom, secluded valleys, acres of rolling hills and draws. Little M  made up of 15 miles of Little Missouri river bottom, rugged land formations, deep gorges and winding creeks- habitat that is ideal for attracting deer and antelope. 

Nebraska- Antelope draw in June, deer over the counter, waterfowl over the counter, turkey over the counter. South Dakota mule deer and whitetail deer draw in April. Whitetail South Dakota 2nd 3rd draw in July for rifle. Spring turkey for South Dakota draw in February, fall turkey in South Dakota draws in June.  Antelope in South Dakota draw in July. Whitetail rifle in North Dakota draw is in June, whitetail archery in North Dakota is unlimited. North Dakota antelope is open, North Dakota fall turkey is July and Mule deer in North Dakota draw is in June. 

The best dates by specie are Waterfowl mid October through Season end. Pheasant Sept to March, Deer November to Jan 15 Antelope Aug 15-Oct 15 Turkey April 20-May 27

For special points of interest for non hunters there is Scottsbluff has a lot of shopping and historical points of interest. Hat Creek lodge is very close to Sturgis, Mt. Rushmore and various local points of interest. Little Missouri Outpost is very near to Medora- Teddy Roosevelt’s ancestral ranch.
