Missouri Trophy DIY Whitetail Deer Hunts

TROPHY WHITETAIL DEER HUNTS NORTH MISSOURI 

There are a limited number of DIY Hunts in Harrison County which attaches to Iowa on the county’s north boundary. For instance a DIY on prime whitetail land with feed and cover is only $ 995!

This outfitter has years of experience in bring down Missouri bucks and has put together 13 properties ranging in size from 60 acres to 200 on honey holes surrounded by corn, soybeans and waterways. The headquarters is out of Bethany, Missouri about 1 hour north of Kansas City, Missouri. The bulk of the properties reside in the Harrison County which is the county adjacent to Iowa’s south Boarder with Missouri.

The area contains a mixture of Rolling hills, Corn, Soybeans, pasture, timber and different types of CRP cover. This habitat is great at building and protecting mature whitetail bucks.

A typical deer taken on these properties is a 130-150 buck. With that said larger bucks are always in the area and moving through on a regular basis. The maturity changing food supply, pressure from other hunter and the rut move large bucks throughout this region and you never know what will show up when you least expect it.

It is our intention to offer you an exciting, memorable and very affordable hunt for turkey and whitetail deer.  Our hunts are semi guided hunts on private land with no high fences a 100% fair chase hunt. We have 36 permanent stands and or blinds placed on these pre-scouted acres.

We allow a limited number of hunters and a 125 class restriction for better management. These hunts are semi guided hunts which includes private property to hunt on, lodging, meals, pre placed stands and blinds. On the day before your hunt we will show you the property lines and your stands that you will be hunting from. 

We can do fully guided hunts on request call for quote. We can also combine packages 10 day Bow/Rifle hunt or 10 day Muzzleloader/Bow hunt

There is a hunter contract and waiver that needs to be filled out at the time of booking with 50% deposit with the remainder due 30 days prior to your hunt. 

Each hunter will be responsible for their Tags and transportation to and from the hunting property. 

The nonresident Missouri buck tags are $ 225.00 and the Doe tags are $ 25.00. Tags are available over the counter or online.

Since these are 100% fair game chase and no high fences these hunts are not guaranteed hunts.

DIY Hunts    

You will be given a map of the property with the fence lines and the locations of the existing stands. You may use them or your own. Outfitter assumes no liability for actions that you do on this land. If you cross over the fence into the neighbor he may prosecute you for trespassing so keep you map with you at all times. These properties are patrolled and your permission slip is on the back of the map, another reason to keep it with you.

To preserve the quality of the hunting there is a minimum buck size restriction here and no does can be shot on these properties. Hunter must access the property and go directly to the stand or where they are going to place their stand immediately. Still hunting in this area is prohibited.

No ATV’s are allowed on the property. Minimal driving of a vehicle on the property and only on established roads. These rule are to do as little as possible to spook the deer you are hunting and the ones after you. Keep that in mind as the ones that hunted before you.

You must only access and leave your stand during the dark or from 11am to 2 pm each day. All of these restrictions have helped keep the quality that every hunter wants at a DIY price. If you have to break one of these rules contact the outfitter by phone prior to doing so and he will make the decision if you can and if there are any impending details. If you shoot and wound a deer and it exits the property do not follow it without contacting the outfitter. It is possible, depending which neighbor the deer went on that a game warden may need to be called to escort you on that property to get your deer.

 As important as these rules are they must be enforced. If you break one of these rules you will be removed for tm the property with no refunds. And not allowed to return.
