We offer some of the best deer hunting on over 8000 acres. Our terrain varies and there is something for everyone. Our properties consist of beautiful valleys, pastures, fields, hammocks, hills and some steeper terrain for the more adventurous hunter. There are hundreds of acres of planted fields and food plots, and we maintain numerous protein grain feeders throughout the entire year to help promote a good healthy weight on our deer, help with the nutrition for our does and growing fawn, and to ensure good and strong antler growth on our trophy whitetail bucks. Our property is located in Clinton County and has been strictly managed for over 5 years. We had a very good season and are really looking forward to 2011 KY deer season. If you want to hunt trophy bucks, this Outfitter is well worth a look.

Turkey Hunts

If you're looking for some high quality wild turkey hunting action, then this might be the place for you. Along with prime deer hunting habitat comes plenty of big and wild Eastern turkeys. We offer both Spring and Fall turkey hunts in Kentucky. You are more than welcome to add a Fall turkey hunt along with your whitetail trip for a very reasonable rate ($195). 

Tennessee Hunts

We also offer 2200 acres of prime whitetail and turkey hunting in Tennessee, just across the border from our Kentucky property. Our Tennessee properties receive the same amount of dedication as our Kentucky lands. We manage the game, ensure a healthy herd, and offer you the same level of service and hospitality

Meals & Lodging

All meals are included with your lodging and we assure you, you will not go hungry.  Three meals will be provided daily and for those hunters who choose to stay on stand all day, we will be happy to pack a lunch to go with you.  The kitchen stays open 24 hours and there will be plenty of snacks, drinks and whatever else you may care to help yourself to.  We want you to feel like you are home and your comfort is very important to us.

Archery Deer Hunting 

Our bow hunts are semi guided. Transportation to and from the stand will be provided, and all of our trails and tree stands are clearly marked for easy locating. We have over 100 stand locations, including ladder stands, double-man, lock-ons, and blinds. Whatever kind of stand you prefer to hunt deer out of, we will be able to accommodate. With this amount of stands and with our hunts being limited to only 8 hunters at a time, you can be sure that you will get the personal attention you deserve. We want your Kentucky deer hunt to be remembered for a lifetime, so we will do our best to put you in a great location and in a stand you are comfortable with. With very low pressure over the last few years, our whitetails have had plenty of time to mature.

Firearm Hunts

Kentucky Heritage Outfitters also offers a limited number of modern gun and muzzleloader deer hunts. We offer more than 8000 acres in Kentucky and 2200 in Tennessee, so our property is large enough to ensure each gun hunter a safe and successful hunt.

Please note that when booking a hunt with us you’re purchasing an "opportunity" to harvest a deer; this is not a guaranteed hunt as our property is completely "fair chase". We will do everything possible to put you in areas where good deer are known to be, but the hunt success also depends on the hunter and his abilities and the effort he contributes to the hunt.

There is absolutely NO smoking allowed at stand locations. We feel this will limit your success and also hurt the chances for success of the next hunter that may be placed in that stand. We scout all year for the best stand locations and we want our hard work to pay off in success for all who choose to hunt with us. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Deer & Turkey Price List

A $500.00 deposit is required to reserve a hunting date with the balance to be paid in full either prior to arrival or upon arrival to lodge. If for any reason a person cannot make it to hunt on the dates they have placed a deposit on, the deposit will be held for a period of one (1) year and applied to another date if availability exists.

***All deer hunts below are 5 full days (except youth). 3 day hunts are available at a reduced rate.

What do I need to bring with me?

The only things that you need to bring are your weapon, personal clothing and care items.

What kind of stands do we provide?

We have over 100 stands in place which includes; lock-on, single ladder stands, double man stands, and ground blinds. We also have a few stand set-ups which allow for filming. We have several different types of stands in many optimal hunting locations, so you do not have to sit in a stand type which you are not comfortable with.

Do we recommend a safety harness be worn by our hunters?

Yes, safety is a number one concern. We recommend that you bring a harness that you are comfortable with. If you do not have one, we will be happy to provide one for you to use while you are here.

Do I have to have my KY hunting license before I arrive?

For our hunter’s convenience, we can apply for and obtain their hunting license for them once they arrive here at the lodge. 

Do we provide skinning and quartering services?

Yes, we have someone here at the lodge to provide this service to our hunter for a fair gratuity amount.

Do we offer meat processing services?

We do have a meat processor that can, in most cases, process your deer before you head home.

Do we have an on-site taxidermist?

We do have a taxidermist that is local and puts our clients first on his completion list for a very fair price with am extremely fast turnaround time.
