Kentucky Whitetail Deer and Turkey Hunts

This outfitter in Central Kentucky is a combination of some of the best hunting in the state along with, world-class accommodations and "genuine Southern" hospitality awaiting you for your hunt. Previously hunted by only family and friends, our 650-acre property is now available to experience first-hand, the most widely kept hunting secret in this part of the state. Low hunting pressure and practiced land-management techniques have created populations of deer and turkey that are both plentiful and mature.

Hunting Property: Our land consists of rolling hills of hardwoods and cedar, streambeds, lakes and meadows. Corn fields, food plots, mineral-licks, and supplemental feeders can be found throughout the property. In addition to our property, we are continually evaluating near-by leased tracts in order to add to our inventory of land and game.

Whitetail Deer and Turkey: Whether your passion includes bow hunting, muzzle loader or shotgun (no rifles allowed), our 3 or 5-day hunts are designed to exceed your Whitetail and Turkey hunting expectations. Because of our continued goal to be a "Trophy destination", minimum harvest standards apply, yet we charge no Trophy Fees! Our hunts are fully guided and developed for your maximum safety and success. Packages include: guide, lodging, all meals, transportation to/from the field, choice of blinds (ground blinds and tree stands), and field dressing your animal. Kentucky hunting license and gratuities are not included.

Waterfowl and Pheasant Hunting: Three lakes on the property also provide additional wing shooting opportunities for Canada Geese and a variety of native Ducks. Early season resident Geese and late season migratory birds offer supplemental hunting options. For the Pheasant enthusiasts, we also offer European Tower Shoots and release hunts. Extensive food plots also provide ideal opportunities for Dove hunts. 

Accommodations: Currently under construction is our newest facility, a 16-unit upscale apartment complex which will provide our guests the maximum in comfort and luxury. Each apartment includes: a living room with sleeper sofa, kitchenette with dining area, 2-bedrooms, each with 2-queen beds and full-baths, balcony decks, wide-screen TV's and wireless internet. Each unit can comfortably accommodate 4-6 guests. All lower level apartments are ADA accessible. Also of course a nice hot shower awaits you when you return from your hunt.

The Lodge: Our recently renovated lodge is adjacent to the apartments and includes a full service restaurant, dining room, full bar and den area. An outdoor Patio/Pavilion has the capability for additional outdoor dining and entertainment. You'll never have to leave the resort until it's time to depart! 

Support Facilities/Services: The Resort was developed with your total needs in mind. Our facilities also include: a 3-D archery course and a sighting-in range. You can also have your game processed locally and make arrangements with our resident taxidermist to have your trophy mounted for those lifetime memories. After a successful hunt, you are also welcome to enjoy the fishing at one of our three lakes, stocked with crappie and Largemouth Bass. And of course our 18-hole championship golf course is among the best in the region. Finally we have our own travel agency to assist you with you travel needs.

In support of the men and women who serve our country, we offer discounts to active members of the military.

Location: We are located between 3 airports that service the area; Lexington (25-minutes); Louisville (55-minutes); and Cincinnati (65-minutes).

Hunting Packages and Pricing: 

We offer guided hunts only. All rates and packages are priced per person. ($200 per person discount on parties of 4 or more) Packages include: guide, transportation to/from stand, (tree stands and ground blinds are available) and field dressing of game. Accommodations: 3-day packages include 2 nights lodging; 5-day packages include 4 nights lodging; 3-meals are served each day. Licenses (State limits apply) and gratuities not included. Customary gratuities for guide services are 10% of the total package price. Extra services: Taxidermy and meat processing can be arranged thru one of our on-site guides. There is a 10% discount for active military personnel.

You will be hunting on private land in Scott County Kentucky which has licenses available on line or at the local store.

These hunts are all 2 hunters to 1 experienced guide unless requested a 1 on 1 guide with a extra fee. The hunt is with moderate physical exertion. You will be hunting from Ladder Stands, Ground Blinds and Shooting Platforms. The hunt will take place on approximately 650 acres of hard woods, tree lines, meadows, stream beds, and cedar thickets. Most of the deer are local so the guide scouts the area on a regular basis to keep up with any deer movement. Hunting transportation will be by foot and ATV’s.  Skinning and caping is included in your hunt cost.

No campers are allowed to be used on the property. 

Groups of 1-16 can be accommodated. Upon receipt of your deposit the Outfitter will contact you and provide you with all the information you will need for the hunt.
