With 34,000 acres, and a limited number of hunters per week, our ranches have minimal hunting pressure. We are constantly scouting to keep on top of new deer patterns and rutting activity. Our farms in Kansas vary in terrains with fertile farm land to heavy timbered draws, to open pastures and tree choked fence lines. Creek bottoms lined with White Oaks or a occasional persimmon grove. Black jack covered hill tops or scattered cedar thickets, just about every thing a deer hunter dreams of. Bottle necks bring the deer in for bow shots from 15 to 30 yards. Or more open shooting opportunity from 50 to 250 yards for the gun hunter.

I've been guiding in Kansas for 15 years. I used to hunt for myself but I realized that I had the opportunity to make other hunters dreams come true. I have the pleasure of meeting many nice people, and it gives me great satisfaction seeing the wide eyed hunter tell his stories of close encounters or awesome kills.

Being a bow hunter by heart, the scouting and stand placement gives me a lot of satisfaction. Where else can you be more than one place at a time - having hunters in stands that I set is just that! Hunting season is only a short time of the year, but I get to do what I love all year long - shed hunting, food plotting, and scouting.
