A friend of mine and myself, and our respective 13 yr old sons booked a duck/geese hunt 1 year in advance from the Harrisburg show. When it came time to make specific plans the weather outlook was awful. 3 days before the event--which was a 1 day hunt- the forecast was 100% chance of precipitation and 25-35 mph winds. I tried to get the owner to let us push back the hunt to the following year- he said no. We had 2 kids coming with us and needed to make a 5 hr drive EACH WAY. Being that he was getting sleet and freezing rain and very high winds...I was going to be getting a signifacnt storm---8 inches expected, being 5 hours north...HE COULD HAVE CARED LESS......So...buyer beware with this outfit! When I explained the weather situation I was coming from, his response was--"So why did u book the hunt 1 year in advance?"----UM---DUH---YOU WERE AT A SPORTSMAN SHOW STUPID!---my advice to anyone looking to use this outfit---BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
