Whether you're looking for a Trophy Whitetail Buck, bag a Deer for the freezer, or hunt Spring Turkey, we have a hunt designed for you. Guided hunts on our deer farm and preserve will provide you with the best hunting experience from the time you arrive to the time you arrive back home. We do the work for you to ensure a great experience. Rock Bridge Lodge is located in the Heart of Dixie in the center of some of the best Whitetail deer country in the south. Our 5,000 acres in Alabama are loaded with deer and turkey. We have designated areas for trophy hunts only, and other less restrictive tracts of land where you can bag a smaller buck or doe. The staff takes great pride in caring for our hunting guests in the Old Southern tradition. Airport and hotel pickup services are available for a small fee. All game cleaning, meat preparation and storage facilities are provided. If you are looking for a great hunt with a bunch of "Good ol' Boys" from down South, give us a try at Rockbridge.

Our hunters stay in a big farm house with all the modern conveniences including central heating and air conditioning, large fireplace, TV with satellite and single bed arrangements. Maid services will be provided with linens, soap, toiletries and paper goods supplied. Our services include: two hunts per day, professional guides, transportation to and from hunting stands, lodging and three meals each day.

Archery Season

October 15 - January 31

3 day hunts - $300.00 per day

October 15th begins the Alabama archery seasons and kicks off some of the most exciting hunts of the year. This time of the year offers an abundance of food sources, the most popular of which change weekly. You may hunt over white oak acorns, green fields, persimmon trees, food plots on trails to and from bedding areas, and rest assured you will get the opportunity to launch an arrow.

Rockbridge Lodge is equipped to provide you with the most professional and specialized service and personnel to make your bowhunt successful and enjoyable.

All hunts are booked on a first come first serve basis. We accept a limited number of hunters for each hunt to assure low hunting pressure and to provide individualized attention. Call now for the hunt of a lifetime.

Rifle Season

November 20 - January 31

3 day hunts - $400.00 per day

3 day Rut hunt - $450.00 per day

Rockbridge deer are fed and managed year round. Specialty crops are planted to attract and hold the game. Our trophy managed land has been on Alabama's deer management program for ten years and is restricted to eight-points or better with minimum 12" spread. 

Hunts include meals, lodging, transportation to and from stand and professional guide assistance. 3-day hunts begin at 1:00 on Thursday and end at 11 a.m. on Sunday. 2-day hunts may be arranged when available.

Coyote, Bobcat, and Fox may be taken at no charge

Safety belts must be worn in elevated stands at all times

Cleaning fee $35 per animal

Airport pickup and return from Birmingham or Montgomery $50.00 round trip

Necessary licenses are available at the Lodge.

$500 fine for shooting illegal deer

$100 fine for shooting button buck

$200 deposit due on booking. The remainder due upon arrival.

Non-hunters $100 per day for food and lodging

Enclosure Hunts

October 15 - January 31

Rockbridge Lodge also has enclosure hunts available.  We guarantee that you will see a lot of deer and have a chance at a true trophy Alabama whitetail.  We have an extensive breeding program and provide the best natural habitat for deer.  These are all native, wild Alabama deer that have been provided an excellent environment for reaching their maximum potential in body size and antler size.  Call for availability and pricing.
