Fishing Trips

Bottom fishing   Salmon   Halibut   Tuna   Lost Coast Trips

BOTTOM FISHING Back To the Top
Noyo Fishing Center Boats specialize in fishing the waters north of Fort Bragg. We primarily fish the Shelter Cove area and the Lost Coast. We fish within 120-180 feet depending on current regualtions. Because of its remoteness this area is unsurpassed in the quality of fish. Limits of lings and huge sack of blacks, china cod, blues, coppers and canaries are generally the rule. We will even have crab traps out for our anglers enjoyment during dungenous crab season. The Rumblefish is the only charter boat fishing these areas out of Fort Bragg.
$65 - $100 per person.

SALMON Back To the Top
Fort Bragg used to be the busiest commercial port on the California coast during salmon season. The commercial season has been drastically reduced but the fish are still here! We are usually fishing for salmon within 10 minutes of leaving the harbor and, during the peak of the season, we run two and three trips a day. June-August are top months with the limit of two salmon, 20 inches or more, per day.
$75 Rumblefish - per person.
$100 Fishon - per person.

HALIBUT Back To the Top
Noyo Fishing Center is the only charter office which targets the pacific halibut. These fish average 50 pounds but will go well over 100. We will be fishing the Lost Coast area and the Punta Gorda reef. The limit is one per angler and, if we are fortunate to limit, we will switch to lingcod or salmon fishing.
The cost varies according to duration and the amount of anglers.
TUNA Back To the Top
When the longfins move close to shore we will be there chasing them. The only boat in Fort Bragg with live bait capacity, we will even go over night. Rumblefish can sleep 12 anglers but we only take ten on the overnighters. On overnight trips we will supply all meals. All tackle is provided on the tuna trips. Because of Rumblefish's speed we can run far offshore for our 12 hour tuna trips. She is capable of speeds over 30 knots. We also pack around a 1000 pounds of ice for our tuna adventures.
Prices on Tuna trips vary according to the length of trip and the amount of anglers.

LOST COAST TRIPS Back To the Top

Again this year we will be offering our spectacular Lost Coast fishing trips. We are going to be fishing the extremely rugged and scenic area of California's remote north coast. Because of the remoteness this area is home to trophy pacific halibut, monster lingcod and rockfish. Also fast and furious king salmon fishing during the season, and later in the summer, the prized albacore tuna.

Very few sport boats have the fuel capacity or the proper United States Coast Guard licensing to be able to pursue this untouched area. Passenger loads are limited for everyone's enjoyment. The trips usually last for around 12 hours and the cost will vary, according to the passenger load and the species chased.

I went out last year with Captain Don and had a great time! We caught some awesome salmon. I already booked my trip for this year.
