I loved fishing with Mike. He was a great ambassador for the river (The Big Hole) and I learned about the area and the surroundings as we floated, which is a big part of it for me. He was expert on the sticks - awesome boat control - and knew where we should invest time and where it was worth covering water. We fished different techniques - both nymphing and streamer fishing - which kept it interesting and fun. I learned some tricks along the way and had a generally great time. Fishtales Outfitting and Mike Stack have my highest recommendation.
