Diving Ducks

For many years Tilghman Island has been known for its commercial seafood operations and slow paced way of life. Many islanders have made their livings from the clamming, crabbing, oystering and fishing industries. The island has been popular with duck hunters and sport fishing groups, and over the years many have come here to be a part of these activities. Being the son of a waterman, I have had the opportunity to experience the Chesapeake Bay first hand as I was growing up. Whether I went crabbing, or worked on the oyster boat, I just enjoyed being on the bay. Over the years and after many seasons of successful duck hunting, I decided to start Diving Ducks. My guide service is not only hunting, but a combination of the sites and history of the bay as well. Diving Ducks is a very well organized service which uses only decoys and equipment that is first class. Diving Ducks is not just a business, it's a passion.
