Maine Deer Hunting

Deer season has a proven track record with 200 pound Boone & Crockett class deer taken from the lodge.  Deer season starts in September for archery, most of November for rifle and through the first of December for muzzle loader. Our area in northern Maine offers some of the largest, mature, monster whitetail bucks in North America. The Canadian size whitetails everyone dreams about can be found right here in the pine state, Aroostook County, the Crown of Maine. Snow is good for tracking but as you can see still hunting can be successful in all conditions.  The hooking on this cedar is typical of the mature, monster bucks found around Bridgewater, Maine.

Maine Bear Hunts

We limit our bear hunters to guarantee each one has a fresh bear site to ensure plenty of bear sightings.  We start baiting the sites the first of August to ensure active sites and continue to bait the site every day until the bear is harvested.  Bear are plentiful but very smart, sometimes referred to as the black ghost.  We offer both rifle and archery ladder tree stands that are concealed and comfortable as well as ground blinds for those that want to get up close and smell the breath of these bruins. The season for Bear Hunts over bait begins the end of August every year.  Our guides are very successful in placing you where you will fill your tag.

Maine Moose Hunting

(Remember the mid may APPLICATION DEADLINE!)

Many 50” to 60” bulls with weights pushing 1,000 pounds are very common in our area, Zone 6.  Apply on line for your moose permit no later than May 1s.  The drawing is held in June each year.  Five hundred permits will be issue for zone 6 this year over the three hunting periods starting the end of September.   Don’t hesitate to get your application in for our guided moose hunt. We take big Canadian moose every year. We are located in the middle of Zone #6. You will see more moose than you ever could imagine. Skinning, cutting, etc. is NOT included.

Rabbit & Bird Hunting

Guided rabbit and partridge hunting also available and both are plentiful. Our area is known for its large population of small game and grouse.
