Big Game
These hunts are for the trophy hunting purist looking for a hunt to put elk, deer or antelope in the B&C or P&Y Record Book. The prices reflect the quality of the animals not the quality of the lodging; everything is put into getting you a buck or bull of book quality. Large ranches are involved and only the taking of a few of the largest animals are taken off the properties each year. The animals are all free ranging and to manage them they use miles and miles of property as a invisible fence to keep them in an area that provides them everything they need to grow old and build their size and the gene pool they are a part of now and in the future.
At times there are a few left over landowner vouchers to purchase a license to hunt these coveted ranches. When they are we provide them here and they are gone in a very short time.
This is not a meat hunt by any means of the word this hunt is a true trophy hunt hunted under all of the laws of the Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
Licenses are usually high preference point draw license requiring 5, 10 or even 15 years to draw the right to purchase a license for this coveted area. Instead with the cost of the hunt below comes a landowner voucher that with it you can by-pass the 10 year wait and buy a license now for this hunting season. The value of these vouchers can be as much as the normal hunt would be. In light of this if the voucher would be $ 2000 added to a $ 2495 deer hunt the total would be $ 4495. As you see knowing what all is included in the hunt the hunt is not that out of the price range of a trophy hunt.
-Left over Specials-The Landowner Voucher is included in the price of the hunt. You will still be required to purchase a state of Colorado Deer, Elk or antelope license to hunt with.

Usually these vouchers are gone before the number of hunters that want them is consumed. Many times these hunts involve waiting a year with your name in for a voucher to be available. In this case these 4 are left at this time but can be quickly taken just by receiving a check for a deposit in the mail. If you are interested in one of these hunts let me know as soon as possible and we will try to hold a voucher for you. If they are all gone you can put a deposit in and get the voucher and hunt reservation for the following year.
I have two rifle hunts still available. One is a rifle elk during the rut in Sept. This is a five day hunt, all private land for 300+ bulls on the eastern plains of Colorado. Hunt dates are Sept. 22-26, which is the dark of the moon, primetime for bugling and with a rifle. This is a guaranteed tag. Price is $4,995.00
The other is a rifle antelope hunt for 75" plus bucks. All private, two day hunt either October. 1-2 or October 6-7. This is a quality area for length mass, hooks and prongs, guaranteed tag. Price $1795.00
Client must provide his own non res hunting license (roughly 550 for elk, 330 for antelope), hotel room (20 minutes from ranch) and food during stay. Hunt includes all guiding one on one, all field care of game, transportation during hunt, and lunch in the field.
These tags will be allocated on a first come first saved booking basis.
I have attached to this email a bull elk (325" Gross) and a buck antelope (78") taken off of these respective ranches on the same hunts in 2010.

This outfitters first name is quality. He uses his 20 years worth of resources to put the hunter on record class bucks and bull from the plains to the dark timber. His number of Bull elk, Buck deer and Buck antelope he has put his clients on and they have taken to the Boone and Crockett book are amazing.
SPECIAL: Big Trophy Antelope available as long as the vouchers last. All private land and an area that has consisted produce 75-83 “gross bucks. This area is historically known for good diggers and good hooks. Three day fully guided hunt is $1995 which includes the landowner voucher (Client must purchase his own non-resident hunting license)
I have two rifle elk hunts in early September during the bugling season. This is a rifle hunt for bulls up to 330 class, all private land, during the rut. Ranch house accommodations and this is a guaranteed tag and a rifle hunt. Can be one on one and can be a price break if booked two on one.
I have two archery deer hunts during the rut, usually mid-November. These are hunts for both mule deer up to 180 and whitetail up to 150 class. It is all private land, some tree stand and ground blind as well as some spot and stalk. Ranch house accommodations

The applications are out and it is time to apply for either your tags if you plan on hunting Colorado this year.... or your preference points for future hunts.
I recommend everybody who plans on hunting Colorado, especially for elk, deer and antelope: to apply for preference points for that species each year. When you do that, and it comes time in the future for your hunt, you will have points to accomplish the best hunts available and will not have to worry about not being able to draw in that year. Elk Hunts
We offer trophy elk hunts on two of our ranches, in which only 6 X 6 - 300 inch plus
and better bulls will be taken. This hunt takes place in game units where 330+
bulls are taken regularly. Our most popular season is usually the early rifle
season. The bulls are typically still bugling some and the weather is not quite as
much of a factor.
Mule Deer:
We offer trophy deer hunts on the eastern plains for rifle, archery and muzzleloader
hunters. We hunt units 105,128, 130 and 136. All of these areas have historically
proven to be among the best in Colorado for producing trophy mule deer and
whitetail deer. The eastern plains hunts are our most popular and subsequently
book up well in advance. We also offer trophy deer hunts on our mountain
ranches. All of our deer hunts are accessed by four wheel drive truck, with hunting
done on foot utilizing spot and stalk.
Antelope: We offer great rifle antelope hunting on the eastern plains. We hunt units
105,106,128, 133 and 130. All of these areas have historically proven to be among
the best in Colorado for producing quality antelope. The eastern plains hunts are

hunts are accessed by four wheel drive truck, with hunting done on foot utilizing

This Outfitter leases private land in the eastern plains for trophy deer and antelope, as well
as ranches in the southeastern mountains of Colorado. We have exclusive hunting rights to all
ranches, allowing us to manage and regulate hunting pressure and harvest. We enjoy a great variety of big game, with all ranches providing excellent mule deer, antelope and elk populations. During the hunt all meals and lodging is provided usually in a ranch house close to where we will be hunting.
Each guide has extensive experience in hunting big game in Colorado; including spot and stalk, tree standing when necessary during archery, calling elk and still hunting dark timber. Most of our private land is accessible by 4wheel drive truck or ATV but we put in a lot of foot miles on most hunts. We can tailor our hunts for those with disabilities or limitations with advance notice.
Our hunts are priced as a 2 on 1 hunt but 1 on 1 hunts are available at a nominal fee. One on one hunts are available upon request.
Accommodations vary from ranch houses to cabins, with showers depending upon the ranch and the specific hunting group. All meals, transportation and field care of harvested game are included in the guide fee. Arrangements can be made for game processing, taxidermy and airport pickup.

Or hunting is from a blind or spot and stalk so the exertion is minimal to moderate on 20,000 to 32,000 acres of private land with canyons and bushy cover.

Although the deadline is over, there is still a chance to obtain licenses. There are deer and elk licenses left over. See the Leftover List. You may also buy over the counter licenses.

Nonresidents apply at the same time and on the same application forms as resident hunters. They may purchase an over-the-counter license just the same as resident hunters.
