COLORADO CANADA GOOSE,DUCK,AND DOVES

NEBRASKA SPRING SNOW GOOSE AND TURKEYS

COLORADO LICENSED,BONDED AND INSURED CO.

Experience first class guided waterfowl hunting on Colorado's majestic Front Range. Your Colorado guided goose or duck hunt will take place in areas that are located within an easy forty-five minute drive of Denver. Most of our hunting locations are centered near the Windsor area, although we manage farms from Wellington south to Longmont and well east of Greeley. This area encompasses about a 50 mile radius to put you where you need to be for the best shooting opportunities at that time. All properties we hunt are leased exclusively by us and managed properly to provide you with the waterfowl hunt you should only expect from a waterfowl outfitter. Colorado was once only thought of as a big game destination. Now the Eastern Front Range is known by many in the waterfowl industry as the best Canada Goose hunting in the lower 48. The owner/guide has been hunting waterfowl here for his entire life, and has watched this resource grow from the two goose limits when he was young to the thousands of birds, and liberal limits of today. Colorado also has some exceptional duck hunting, and can often last way into the late season. It is not uncommon to bag as many as seven or more separate species in one outing. Dove hunting on the Front Range often can be fantastic with stable weather. Come experience what we as wing shooters here on the Front Range are fortunate enough to enjoy daily from mid-fall through the entire winter.

COLORADO GOOSE HUNTING

GUIDED COLORADO GOOSE HUNTING

DECOYING CANADAS CLOSE IS OUR TOP PRIORITY!

Colorado goose hunting can be some of the best in the nation. During peak migration Colorado's Front Range corridor can hold upwards of 250,000 birds consisting of several sub-species of Canadas. The first migrants to arrive are the Short Grass Prairie Goose or Lesser that announce their presence in large noisy flocks around mid-November. The majority of the wintering flock will consist of the High Line Canadas that will average around 8 pounds these normally arrive in December and will be bolstered by Greater Canadas from Montana and Canadian Provinces later in the month and into January. Colorado hunters can be fortunate enough to also experience a reverse migration in February, as thousands of geese return from the southern half of the nation making things brand new.

This water rich, agricultural area also boasts a resident Canada Goose population exceeding over 20,000. Surrounded by thousands of birds throughout the season assures our success. The best time to be on Colorado's Front Range for goose hunting is wide open from the beginning of the season until the end.

Your fully guided Colorado goose hunt will take place out of well camouflaged, warm pits, or permanent water blinds. Depending upon conditions, you will be hunting over corn, alfalfa, grass, barley, wheat, or premium water locations well all leased exclusively. All hunts will be decoy hunting only over large spreads of full bodies, silhouettes, floaters and shells often exceeding well over 20+ dozen. We have over a dozen different locations to choose from on a daily basis to assure you are in the best spots for optimum opportunities. All locations are on well-established flight lines deep in the heart of the wintering grounds. When hunting with us there is no need to worry about the guide shooting your birds, we don't even carry guns and that is very refreshing to the many that have hunted with us in the past. Our never ending attention to detail, equipment, calling and camouflage is second to none! This and our hunting practices will assure big Canadas decoying up close and personal, decoying geese for close range shooting is our priority.

COLORADO DUCK, DOVE HUNTING

GUIDED COLORADO DUCK,DOVE HUNTING

EXPERIENCE CLASSIC DECOY DUCK HUNTING THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE

Colorado duck hunting can be fast and exciting with a smattering of species available from puddler’s to divers. We offer fully guided morning or afternoon duck hunts on water and dry land for diversity. Colorado's duck season can be fantastic, but often short lived. Depending upon the weather and conditions hunts can be productive from October through January. You may be hunting ponds, a warm water slough, or a picked corn field, a blind, no matter where you will be comfortable and well camouflaged. Come hunt ducks with us marvel at the sound of wind ripping through primary feathers as birds decoy the right way for optimum shooting opportunities. Primary species include Mallards, Gadwall, Widgeon, Teal, Shovelers, but it is not uncommon to shoot Redheads, Buffleheads, Wood ducks and other species as well. Duck hunting in Colorado can develop in short order, so getting on the call list is a good idea to assure you plan your outings right. Being an accomplished duck caller and having spots where the ducks want to be assures your success. All hunts are over premium multi species decoy sets that include floaters, full body, and various motion producing decoys. We also offer early Teal and Dove hunts to hone your shooting skills and fix the pre-season blues. Both of these hunts are offered at very reasonable daily rates, and action often can be fantastic. Dove hunting on the Colorado Front Range can be very good early on if one is in the correct spot, we often have cut Wheat and Barley stubble and roosting/ watering areas that will provide consistent action providing the weather remains stable. Dove hunting here can be fast and furious if migrant birds are pushed from the north with weak cold fronts to boost the local populations. Dove hunts generally are a semi-guided, half day type hunt. Teal hunting is also offered and can be of a here today gone tomorrow type affair, or not here today, show up tomorrow type hunt as Blue Wings, Cinnamon's, and Green Wing Teal make their way for southern climes. Check the Rates and season dates page for more information.

THE HUNTS

SPRING CONSERVATION ORDER SNOW GEESE

We will be set up in a pit blind on a picked corn field, with a very large permanent spread of decoys (1000+) consisting of shells, silhouettes and various flier type decoys as well as an e-caller. Our location is on a high point overlooking a stopover roost on a migration route. This hunt was designed to intercept migrating snows and blues as they make their way north towards the breeding grounds. The decoys will already be out when you arrive all you have to do is get in the pit and load your gun! Success can vary greatly in the spring season, however we are confident in our location and our expectations are very high for this hunt on migration days.

We can handle up to 5 hunters a day, but 4 shooters will assure your own private party hunt. Meals, licenses, and guide gratuity are not included in the daily rate.

SPRING TURKEY HUNTING

This hunt takes place along the Republican River, it's drainages and the adjacent crop grounds. The areas we hunt are covered up with turkeys and success rates are high. This hunt is 100% fully guided. Most birds are either true Rio Grande or hybrid subspecies. This is your classic textbook spring hunt that you won't want to miss.

Meals, licenses and guide gratuity are not included in the hunt cost.
