Colorado Elk, Mule Deer, DIY Hunt on private ranch in GMU 42

DIY Hunt in Land of Plenty, Silt Colorado the game rich private property in GMU042 located in Western Colorado. The ranch is booked with one group at a time most of the time depending on the number of hunters. There is a very nice cabin with running water, warm shower, & electricity (provided by solar), and two other camping cabins. Not only will you be hunting approximately 1000 acres of private ground, you are also able to hunt a controlled access area of BLM and National Forest.

With the land ranging from 6,500 feet in the sage brush to 8,500 feet in elevation in the aspen and fir trees you will see Elk, Deer and lots of Bear. In addition we regularly see Bobcats, Coyotes, Turkeys, Mountain Lions, and Moose. Hunting here with harvest since 1939 we know the game and where to find it. There are roads and two tracks on the ranch for cars, jeeps, ATV’s and snowmobiles.
