Colorado Deer Elk Antelope GMU 10

Are you tired of coming home with more small horns from an elk hunt? This is the trophy hunt for big bull elk that is as good as it gets. This hunt usually requires 1 year advance reservations to get this coveted hunt. You can put in and draw but it is at 22 points and with point creep I am certain it will be over 35 years before you draw.

This hunt includes the voucher required to buy the license over the counter. It is for area 10 and the bulls are huge, and not far between them. This area has been managed as a trophy area for many years and the size of the bulls and the number of bulls available does show that history. There are many 6x6 and 7x7 bulls that have never been shot at and missed; they just don’t get shot at very often due to the minimal number of bull licenses issue for GMU 010 each year.

The trip is fully guided with meals and lodging provided in a deluxe cabin in the unit where you will be hunting. This hunt is a 5 day hunt and the guided hunt with the voucher is $ 15,995.

Other Maximum Trophy hunts with coveted Vouchers for deer and antelope available on a first come, first serve basis.

Although the deadline is over, there is still a chance to obtain licenses. There are deer and elk licenses left over. See the Leftover List. You may also buy over the counter licenses.

Nonresidents apply at the same time and on the same application forms as resident hunters. They may purchase an over-the-counter license just the same as resident hunters.
