ONE TIME SPECIAL UNTIL THE HUNT IS SOLD!
DISCOUNTED GUIDED TROPHY ANTELOPE HUNT in quality area that takes 9 points to draw a license to hunt. The antelope hunt $1500 landowner voucher is a $1,000. There is only 1 hunt voucher per year to work with on this hunt. In this case the outfitter is willing to let this $2500 hunt go for only $ 1495, he will be eating 100% of the voucher cost.
This is a 5 day private land hunt in the San Luis Valley of Colorado on antelope scoring 80 plus or 14 to 16 inch horn length antelope.
These antelope are known for their great mass not long and spindly length as some areas. This makes a great wall mount look even better.
The hunter is still responsible for the Colorado Antelope License and Habitat Stamp (Resident $41.00 and Non Resident $ 341.00 and youth $ 10.75) and the voucher will provide what is needed to buy this license in the coveted GMU082 area. Lodging is provided for this hunt so you will wake up to antelope and passing many good antelope to take a great antelope.
This has been a 99.9% success hunt in the past and this year should be even better. Antelope are feeding on irrigated circles of alfalfa. The hunt is a spot and stalk hunt or concealment behind large hay bales and other limited cover in this prime antelope producing region.
Voucher hunts are the best way to shoot trophy animals in areas that have come to be a once in a life time draw hunts. Antelope are the second most difficult animal to judge size on the hoof before the shot. (Mountain Goat is the number 1 most difficult) This outfitter has many, many years under his belt of field judging trophy antelope on the hoof and is able to separate the good from the great. Many antelope are taken each year across Wyoming, Colorado and Montana by novices that complain of “Ground Shrinkage”, a common term for” I thought he was bigger than that when I shot” comment when the hunter walks up to their antelope to tag it.
