My first time Fly Fishing and what an outstanding time. Art was unbelievable in his knowledge and instruction. He had me catching trout in a matter of minutes. If there ever was a fish whispered, Art is it. By the time we were done fishing the first day, Art was not only the best fishing guide you could ask for, but a friend for life. He made memories for my son and me that will last a lifetime. I can't wait for me and my son's next fishing trip with Art. I can't say enough of what a wonderful guy Art is. And the breakfast burritos his wife made for us were the absolute best. If you ever want a once in a lifetime fishing experience, Art is the man you want to contact.

I have been fishing with the Stott’s Crew for the last three years. I have brought groups from many different parts of the Northwest during that time. Each and every time is a new adventure whether you have fished with the Stott’s crew many times like I have or its your first time. You will come away with memories and experiences that will last a lifetime. Being in sales and customer service it becomes easy to recognize good customer service or when someone goes above and beyond. What is truly aspiring to me is that each and every time regardless of how many times you have been with the Stott’s Crew it’s the same great service. Over the years it has evolved to where I once brought groups and introduced them to the Stott’s experience.

Those groups are now bringing their own groups and are sharing in the same adventures as we once did our first time. With the hustle and bustle of today’s world it is nice to know there still is a place that you can go and experience picturesque scenery, receive unbelievable service, partake in great BBQ lunches on a sandy beach, and catch some of the most majestic fish in the United States. When describing what it is like to someone who has never had the opportunity to experience what the Stott’s team offers. I often say it’s like Disneyland for adults the adventures are for a lifetime and it truly is more than fishing. The greatest thing of all in my opinion is the business is family ran and they truly do treat their guests as family. It is without reservation I highly recommend the Stott’s Team to anyone regardless of their fishing experience.”

Rob took us down the James river for a 12 hour smallmouth float. Rob was very professional and knew where to get us on fish. We easily caught 40 smallmouth and one 25lb Musky. Definitely going back and would recommend anyone to go on this trip.

Let me first start by saying Captain Alex runs a first class operation. He took us into the backwaters around Charleston, and we caught fish the entire time. Captain Alex was very knowledgeable about the waters surround Charleston, and we fished with the top of the line gear. My kids enjoyed every minute of the trip! We immediately booked a trip for our summer vacation!

Due to full moon and rain fishing was tough. John did everything he could to put us on fish, everyone was having a hard time catching fish. John did a great job. Quality equipment, knowledge of the river. Will book another trip with him!

The lodges are trailers which is something you won't find out until you get there. But do not fret, because they have 6 beds and are a really good living space. Not cramped, full kitchen, living room, 2 showers. Really nice. Finding the dock was a bit of a pain having not been here before. Not much in the way of signs, but the town people were very kind and pointed us in the right direction. Once there, we left without delay. Started with some jigging, and I caught two fish, though I was the only one who caught anything. Captain John (JJ) took the time to answer all questions and showed us all the instruments and how to tell where the fish were. He tried his damn best to get us in a spot with some fish. After checking with some others in the area who were also coming up short, JJ took us out a ways to do some trolling. Unfortunately the fish just weren't biting like crazy, but capt found the spots where they were and everyone in the boat ended up bringing in 3 walleye to include some 26-29 inchers. Ended up with 97 lbs of fish, and all sorts of compliments about how nobody had the hull we did, and we caught the most and biggest fish out of everyone on the water that day. JJ fit right in with our crew and did his best to get us where the fish were. Damn good guy.
