At AMMONOOSUC RIVER OUTFITTERS, I strive to give you the best experience possible for the game that you are interested in pursuing. I am the only registered guide offering hunts for both bear and moose in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Turkey in the springtime is awesome in either states, and NWTF book birds are taken here each year. A favorite experience is the cast and blast special; in both Vermont and New Hampshire, turkey hunting ends at noon.Thats when the fishing for steelhead trout takes over.
The bear hunting in both states is simply awesome. Bear hunting in New Hampshire can be by spot and stalk, over bait, or natural food sources, with bait the preferred method. I lease land, which ensures that you will be the only person sitting on a site in an area covering 2500 acres. In Vermont, I prefer to try to help out the farmers, with hunts taking place over mostly cornfields, and watching apple orchards.
Mosse? What can be said about the moose hunting in both states. Moose hunting in both states is either through a draw, or by auction. Don't be fooled into thinking that trophy sized animals can only be found in the far reaches of Alaska or Canada. We have them right here. I have personally taken a bull moose with a spread of 51", that field dressed at 719lbs. And they come bigger than that! Go check out the site of the Vermont Big Game Trophy Club to see some of the behemoths taken, and New Hampshire's moose mirror Vermont's.
Enough cannot be written in this small space about what our area of the world has to offer. For some pictures to look at of what we have to offer, go to our Facebook page of AMMONOOSUC RIVER OUTFITTERS, or theextremehunter.com, and look under their outfitter listings for New Hampshire. You won't be dissapointed.
