Private Shooting & Big Game Hunting Adventures in Wyoming

Experience shooting and hunting in Wyoming with an adventure-filled stay at Brush Creek Ranch, offering miles of private lands in the heart of the incredible Rocky Mountain West. The Brush Creek Gun Club offers a 10-station sporting clays course, 5-station skeet course and competition archery, as well as its own yurt-style clubhouse. With seasons based on species, the Ranch offers a limited number of big-game hunts for antelope, buffalo, deer, elk, moose, and bison.

Private guided wing shooting adventures and tower shoots are available August through October. Guests can also experience one-on-one or two-on-one guided Wyoming hunting excursions during archery and rifle seasons for both novice and trophy hunters. Hunting and wing shooting are in-season specialty programs that are priced separately. From competition rifle, shotgun and archery courses to guided hunts and wing shooting on our vast property, the Ranch is the ideal destination for discerning sports enthusiasts. PRIVATE WING SHOOTING

Experience the thrill of a guided, private hunt for pheasant or chukars, a small upland game bird, with our team of well-trained hunting dogs. Half-day hunts for beginners and experts alike, typically consist of two hunters with a private guide and pair of dogs navigating across terrain of sagebrush and rock outcroppings for chukars and through open grasslands and along streams for pheasant. It’s not uncommon to encounter rabbits, badgers and coyotes on these hunts as well,

which are all open game on the Ranch. *

TOWER BIRD SHOOTS

Our tower shoots are unique to the Ranch and are great competition for groups. Guests are stationed along 10 unique shooting stations, in similar fashion to a European bird shoot. Birds are released into the shooting zone and shooters compete for the most birds, rotating to new stations for different shooting experiences. *

SPORTING CLAYS & SKEET SHOOTING

We offer a five-stand competition shooting course as well as a 10-station, walking sporting clays course with a variety of shooting scenarios to cater to a wide variety of ability levels, from beginners to seasoned competitive shooters. In addition, the club offers rifle and pistol ranges as well as mechanical targets. We also offer beginner programs on gun safety, responsibility, and comfort holding and firing a gun.

PRIVATE BIG GAME  HUNTING

Brush Creek Ranch Outfitter’s Center offers guided hunts on the Ranch in the fall. The Ranch offers guests an unsurpassed variety of terrain all to themselves without the need to compete with other hunters. Our guides are extremely knowledgeable about the area and the characteristics of the many game animals native to the Ranch, including elk, deer, antelope, bear and moose. These fully outfitted experiences, in addition to our private bison hunts, offer the finest guiding and gear from shooting equipment to quality optics. Hunting parties have the option to stay in our luxury lodge or wilderness tent camp on a remote section of the property. Guests must apply for hunting tags, depending on species, starting early in the calendar year. *

CAST & BLAST PROGRAMS

We offer a variety of customized programs that pair outstanding shooting experiences with private-water fly fishing for a oneof- a-kind sportsman’s adventure. Typically conducted in the Fall on our secluded Encampment property, the program includes planted birds, native trout, and outstanding views of the Wyoming landscape. *

RIFLE/PISTOL RANGE

Our all-season shooting range offers both indoor and outdoor facilities for various rifle and pistol shooting situations. Our heated, covered open air range building is a two-story facility that accommodates multiple shooters at a time.

ARCHERY

Two archery courses—a stationary target course and a 3-D course—are available to guests. The target course consists of two larger hung targets that are used for beginners and bow sighting. The 3-D course consists of eight 3-D animals set at a variety of distances. They range from small animals like turkey to big game like antelope and deer. Both courses can be experienced by sporting enthusiasts with a range of abilities—from beginner to advanced. Our courses stress safety first and education about archery shooting. As with all of our activities and adventures, our Outfitter’s Center offers high-quality gear, including compound and crossbows for guest use.
