Great Lakes Fishing Charters LLC offers charters from ports across the Great Lakes. We are constantly reviewing fishing success rates around the Great Lakes to keep Captain Eric’s boats “hooked” and “hooked again” in the “hottest” ports at their “prime” times each season. Every fisherman understand that each port has good or excellent fishing at some point each season. We take this to the next level and position our boats in the areas that have consistently been the best at their time each year. The ports we fish on Lake Michigan are Ludington, Pentwater, Arcadia, Elberta and Frankfort. On Lake Erie we fish from Monroe north to Detroit and south to the Toledo channel. Our dock on Lake St. Clair is centrally located. Regardless of the port you can be sure we are close to the schools of fish and won’t need to travel far to catch them. This philosophy also gives us the opportunity to fish for a wide variety of fish species including Atlantic Salmon, Bass, Brown Trout, Catfish, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, King Salmon, Lake Trout, Perch, Pink Salmon, Steelhead and Walleye. Certain fish species prefer very cold water while others prefer rather warm water. Some fish species return to a river or stream to spawn while others look for rocky reefs or a sandy lake bottom. These are only a few of the variables that make a port good for some types of fishing and not for others. Our charters put you in the “prime” locations for the type of fish you want to catch.
