Welcome to Out on a Limb Outfitters
We have been guiding hunts in the mountains and hills of New Mexico for more than ten years. We are in the mountains 300 days a year ! We spend the off season training our hounds and gearing up for the hunting season. We are a family oriented outfitter and enjoy hunting with youth as well as anyone who wants to tag along.
We offer discounts for groups hunts of four or more as well as combined hunt discounts. We also provide hunts for the disabled, please call for pricing. We charge a spectator fee of $100 per day.

awesome time! we hunted and had lots of fun we ate good cabin tents were cozy his wife is an amazing cook the dogs are highly trained his campers side by side and trucks were top notch only complaint is i wish there was more bueberry cobbler my bear was 390 lbs 18 inch skull and my elk was non typical and a nice 4x 6 he called my bull in to 40 yards

I had an awesome time great people very friendly and professional his dogs are amazing I was comfortable during my whole stay I have a few friends that hunted with bill ritchey and out on a limb guides and outfitter and had an amazing time as well I killed my elk with my bow on Thursday opening day was two days later and I harvested my bear that day it was a 380 pound boar with a 19 inch skull

Horrible guiding did not catch one bear. Bill was working on his truck the whole time. Also ran out of gas and sat by the truck for a full fay. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS OUTFIT
